Worship at Vineyard

At Leeds Vineyard we seek to be a community who love Jesus and worship Him with everything we are, in every moment whether we are at home, at work, with friends, or at church.

We daily seek His presence and intimacy, wherever we go and see our whole lives as being an act of worship. Worship is our heart response to the revelation of who Jesus is. We worship Him because He is worthy.

This is our starting point “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength and with all your mind.” Luke 10:27.

If you have any questions about worship or would like to chat more about it with someone, please contact the office.

ARISE

Monthly worship evening
2nd Sunday of the month | 7.45pm | Vineyard House

Arise is an evening of extended worship where we pursue spending time in the transforming presence of God. It is a precious opportunity to focus our hearts and minds fully on Him and to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us.

If you’re new to Leeds Vineyard we encourage you to come along to Sunday Gathering first where you’ll receive a warm welcome, and get a feel for how we worship, before joining in with Arise.

Playlist

We worship God because He is worthy and deserves all our praise

The songs that we sing are important. They help us to express our feelings and worship towards God - like a sung prayer - as well as reminding us of key truths, or theology, about ourselves and God.

The links below include a playlist of the all the worship songs currently being used at Leeds Vineyard, all in one helpful place. Check it out!

Songwriting

'Sing to the Lord a new song' Psalm 96:1

We love to encourage song writing in Leeds Vineyard, and often use some of our home grown songs in our sung worship times together. If you are interested in learning more about what we do, and joining in the journey of song writing with us, then please do get in contact via the

Vineyard Worship

You can find out more about the worship within Vineyard on the Vineyard Worship page.

The Vineyard movement was born out of a love of worship, a desire to meet with Jesus in worship, to honour him in song. We are a people that love to write songs, love to use our creativity in music to help others worship.

On the website you'll be able to find the chords and lyrics to the Vineyard songs we use, hear about upcoming events for those involved in worship, and find a wealth of resources. These include learning about how to put a set list together, running a song writing circle, listening to conversations about 'What is Worship', down to technical articles about how to stream live worship.

Vineyard Worship Values

These worship values help to explain the reasons why we do worship in the way we do. Click through to learn about the values of Intimacy, Accessibility, Integrity, Kingdom Expectation and Passion.
