Sunday Gathering in-person
You are welcome to come along to our Sunday Gathering, whether you are new to faith, just exploring, or have been following Jesus for years.
We begin at 11am with Meeting Point in the garden at Headingley Methodist Church (or just inside if the weather is bad). Bring along a cuppa or grab one from a local café and have a chance to chat and get to know people.
Worship begins at 11.30am followed by community news, teaching from the Bible and prayer. This will also be live streamed on YouTube.
We look forward to welcoming you!
You do not need to book tickets for the Sunday Gathering.
Test and Trace
Please scan the QR code if you are able, as you enter the building for NHS Test and Trace.
Although this is not a requirement, please do be sensitive to those around you who would prefer to keep their distance. As a way of looking after one another we are creating zones for people to sit in according to how they feel. You’ll be offered a sticker at the door to help communicate to others about where you’ll be sitting and how you’d like to interact.
Red I'm keeping my distance, no physical contact please
Yellow I’m proceeding with caution but am happy to chat and share a pew
Green I'm fine with high-fives or hugs
We encourage you to continue to wear a face covering when singing, unless you are exempt for medical reasons.
If you would like to join in with our Sunday Gatherings and you have additional accessibility requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss what is needed, or you can read more here. We can also let you know when the next Sunday Gathering will be supported with a BSL trainee interpreter.
Kids and Youth
Vineyard Kids (0-11s) and T4:12 (12-18s) meet in their groups during the Sunday Gathering.
Worship is led from the front and we encourage you to wear a face covering if you would like to sing.
There is a hand sanitising station on entry to the building and we encourage you to use this as you arrive and leave.
Unfortunately, there are no refreshments available, but you can bring your own drink from home or visit one of the local cafés.
We have a trained volunteer team to help us all to stay safe.
Please do not attend if you're feeling unwell, or self-isolating due to having had any Covid-19 symptoms in the past 10 days (high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a change or loss to your sense of taste or smell), or if you're self-isolating due to contact with someone who has symptoms or has tested positive, or if you've been told to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace.
If you are a close contact who doesn't need to self-isolate (as of the 16 August changes in legislation) we ask that you consider doing a lateral flow test before coming along.
If you do develop Covid symptoms in the 3 days after the event please email the office as soon as possible and then confirm test results.
