David reviews the church's finances for the last year and invites us to commit ourselves to the church and our vision once again.

David uses a bag of donuts to illustrate how the incredible generosity shown to us in Jesus overflows in our lives to confound the false narratives of money in our world.

With what can we come before God? Can we ever give enough to make it OK with Him. Why do we give to church? David invites you to respond to God's generosity to you by joining in with the mission and vision of the Vineyard.

There are several mistaken reasons to give and several things that make it difficult. But the starting point, the main reason to give is because everything we have belongs to God. David provides a helpful perspective to handling money and giving.

God gives us generously all that we need. Therefore we can be generous in giving away what we have received. When we give generously, those in need are provided for, those who receive will praise God for our obedience, and we receive thanks, blessing and grace in return.

David starts with Psalm 24:1 and then using 1 Corinthians 16:2 explains Paul's directions about giving. Most importantly, David helps us to understand that giving is about you.
