Litter Picking

Litter Free Leeds has been set up to keep our parks streets and green spaces free of litter. There are over 2,800 volunteers in Leeds and you have probably noticed the purple bags of rubbish collected by the council bins which have been filled with the likes of you and me. These bags are then collected by Leeds City Council bin lorries.

We plan to make litter picking a regular monthly activity and so any one who has a passion for litter picking and walking is welcome to join us in the streets of Headingley.

The first litter pick takes place on Thursday 18th November 2021 meeting at Vineyard House at 10.30am. Please do sign up so that we know who is coming.
