Theme: God wants us to stand up firmly for what we believe and He will protect us as we do this

Do you sometimes find it hard to stand up for what you know is right? Is it sometimes difficult to tell the truth? I think this is probably true for most of us! In our story this week, we meet three remarkable men who were willing to stand up for their belief in God even though they were being threatened with a fiery furnace!

You can read their story in Daniel 3 or find it in a children’s Bible – their names were Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

We’ll be telling the story at our Vineyard Kids Family Service on Sunday 4pm, and it would be great if you could bring along a musical horn or pipe (there are ideas for how to make one in the resources above).
