Leeds Vineyard

Sunday 28th June

Theme: God has made each of us with unique gifts and he wants us to use them wisely

God has made you in a unique and wonderful way – you are designed and loved by him! As part of the unique way he has designed you, he has given you strengths and gifts that you can develop and use to bring joy to God, to others and to yourself!

Jesus told a story, or parable, to help us to understand how important it is that we use our gifts wisely. It’s called the parable of the talents and you can read it in Matthew 25:14–30. Can you discover Jesus’ hidden message in the story?

Here are some resources to help you explore the story further as a family:

The Parable of the Talents

This is a great resource to support you as you plan to develop a talent:

Ways to Develop a Talent

We’ll be telling the story at our Vineyard Kids Family Service on Sunday 4pm, and it would be great if you could make a big coin from paper and write on it some of the talents God has given you.

This week we recommend ‘Great are you Lord’ from our Kids Worship playlist as it reminds us that God has given us everything – even the breath in our lungs – so we want to use it to praise him! You can access this through the Vineyard Kids Spotify Playlist or YouTube Playlist

For families with 0-5 year old children, do look out for our Vineyard Sparklers sessions on a Wednesday morning.

Hopefully see you at the Vineyard Kids Family Service!
