We want to be known for being really good neighbours by the residents, businesses, community groups, schools and other churches in Headingley. For making a difference in our community and building links with others who are also doing wonderful things. There are a couple of ways we do this at the moment and we envisage this aspect of what we do growing in the years ahead.
We have prayer groups who meet regularly and aim to make connections with local groups and people, pray for the area and respond to what God is doing by serving and blessing the community. Please talk to Liz Harden if you would like to be involved.
We also run regular Alpha courses and we run a Child Contact Centre which meets fortnightly in Headingley Methodist Church.
The Lantern is a space where adults with multiple and complex needs can find friendship, food and faith. We run this in partnership with Cornerstone Baptist Church and meet most Wednesdays between 10.30am - 12.30pm and Sundays between 3.30pm - 5.00pm at the Greenhouse Cafe, LS6 3LF.
