ecology, creation theology and our relationship with creation
Natural theology tells us that God's message is apparant in the world he made for us. The law of love Christ gave us tells us that we must love others as ourselves. As Christians, we have a special duty and insight to try to understand our humanity and the earth on which it resides. The attached link to a 90 minute film made by Yann Arthus-Bertrand (the French man who takes such beautiful pictures from the air) may therefore inspire us to understand more deeply this relationship with our earth and those we share this earth with, even whilst there is no overt religious reference, there is a powerful sense of religious reverence in it.

The film is called "Home" and about the ecology of our earth, the state of our human communities on our oil-dependent earth.

It is a particularly powerful film to me since last year, i travelled widely across our earth and saw at first hand the truth of the message - i saw mountains gorged out for their bauxite, cities where children go to the toilet bare foot at the stream that trickles through their district, and where the poor are poor because the rich will neither pay justly for their work nor care about the environment in which the poor live.
